The UV222 Luminaire effectively, autonomously and continuously disinfects viruses, bacteria and fungi in the air and on surfaces. For this reason, UV222 represents one of the greatest recent technological advances to return to a new normal, since it's essential to contain and mitigate the growing threat of infectious diseases including COVID-19, in which potentially infected human carriers are indistinguishable from non-carriers.
UV222 effectively inactivates up to 99.9 percent of viruses (including COVID-19), bacteria, and other pathogens in the air and on surfaces.

The disinfection time depends on the distance between the luminaire and the area to be disinfected.
In most cases, the disinfection process is completed in a few minutes.

It is not necessary to manually activate UV222 every time you need to use it, as UV222 is equipped with a presence sensor and a three-function switch:

1. Lights up in presence of personnel.
2. Always on.
3. It lights up in the absence of personnel.

In all cases, the UV222 Luminaire works through cycles: 90 seconds ON and 13 minutes OFF.

UV222 requires no maintenance to operate. If you wish to clean it from dust, you can use a damp cloth (taking care that the lamp is turned off and allowing a few minutes for the glass to cool).
